Stand

Extend your hand in front of the dog, palm facing the dog with the first two fingers extended. Pull away.

GOAL: The dog stands up on all fours from a Sit or Down.

This behavior is important when the veterinarian or groomer needs access to the dog in a standing position or just when you’ve had him in a relaxed stay for a while and it’s time to move on.
